UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh

Working with the Child Life Services team at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, we created a special version of our traveling exhibit, XOXO: An Exhibit About Love and Forgiveness, for an indoor atrium playground designed as a multipurpose social space for patients to spend time with their families and friends away from their hospital rooms. Activities such as Face Blocks, Empathy Story Puzzles, Silhouettes, Holding Hands and Shred the Negative focus on communication and social emotional learning. Additional fixtures such as Light Peg Walls and custom curved benches complete this unique play space.
